Miklós Kásler has served as the human resources minister in the Orbán government since May 2018. Kásler has been the director of the National Institute of Oncology in Budapest since 1992.

The Human Resources Ministry is responsible for managing public education, healthcare, social services and cultural policy.

Biography
Born in Budapest, raised in town of Sárvár (western Hungary, pop. 15,000). Received M.D. from University of Szeged Faculty of Medicine in 1974.
